About us
The Empty Glass offers a wide array of Texas and imported varietals from its rustic, old-town atmosphere at the Tomball Historic Depot Plaza. Dana’s vision is to highlight Texas wines and to educate guests on the state’s successful wineries. So behind her bar are 135 wines on The Empty Glass’ menu with more than 100 by-the-glass labels. Customers can also purchase bottles sold and other wine-related items at discounted prices.
A small food menu is available and organized so even a wine novice can navigate easily for that perfect pairing. Individual meats and cheeses, sandwiches, pizza, and desserts are also available. The Glass also holds several bottled beers ($3) for our beer-drinking friends. Outside patio space with wooden furniture and shade structure offers a relaxed environment that looks naturally aged with non-discrete flat-screen TV allowing patrons to view their favorite sporting team or latest news event. We also offer an exclusive tasting room for a private gathering and small celebrations available by reservation.
Every Saturday the bar hosts wine tastings and live music from 1-4 p.m. with no cover cost, and while wine tasting costs vary with the vendor they stay around $10. And don’t forget about our happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and all day on Sundays. Featuring a $5 wine-by-the-glass, it’s a great way to sample some great Texas wines. The Empty Glass is a natural fit at the Depot Plaza and downtown Tomball. Come see us and we will not disappoint any wine enthusiast.
